Vichy Idealia Illuminating Day Cream
I only came across this day cream because I unexpectedly ran out of my usual moisturiser and was routing through all my old Glossybox samples trying to find something suitable for my skin when I came across this beauty. I have no idea why it got chucked in the 'I'll use you later but probably never see you again' pile but boy was I glad I found it!
Vichy Idealia Illuminating Day Cream
Here's what Glossybox say about it "The dream of ideal skin comes true with Vichy’s NEW Idealia Day Care.
For a perfect skin texture, with less visible flaws and wrinkles.
Suitable for women of any age and skin type; enriched with Vichy Thermal
Spa Water.
Ideal Pleasure: A unique texture combining the richness of a cream with
the lightness of a gel for a comforting & fresh sensation upon
application.
Ideal Efficacy: Scientifically proven results for refined skin texture & more even complexion.
Ideal Tolerance: Tested on sensitive skin, paraben free, hypoallergenic, with soothing Vichy Thermal Spa Water"
I started using this around a month ago and I was impressed from the offset, it smells beautiful and a bit like strawberries. I got given the pot for normal/combination skin and it made my usual dry/sensitive skin feel super soft and it didn't irritate my skin at all which for me is unusual! Even after a couple of days my skin was smoother and looking a lot more radiant it was only when I googled it that I found a downside, Vichy Idealia costs £22. So now after my sample pot has run out I have a dilemma, do I fork out £22 for a day cream that actually works or keep on trying to find the perfect low end moisturiser? And if I do splurge on Idealia so I stick with the normal/combination or get the dry/sensitive?
What would you guys do? Have you tried Vichy Idealia?
If you like it and think it is worth the money, buy it or try and find it cheaper elsewhere xx

I love finding new products when I run out of usual ones. It's so hard to decide whether it's worth the money but just think, oif it's really benefitting your skin and has amazing effects then go fo it! If it's the same as many other cheaper alternatives that it's obviously not worth it. Some products are worth their steep price tag and some are just a fix!

It's a hard decision to make.. but if it works, I think I'd be inclined to stick with this one, as you could end up paying more than the £22 finding the 'perfect' replacement? xx

I've been dying to try it, but , as you said, the price is a bit of a downside.
ReplyDeleteI think you should consider buying it, though :)
