These Boots Are Made For Walking

Models Own Lipsticks
I picked up these lipsticks in the Boots 3 for 2 offer a while back, I'd seen them online and I thought they looked really interesting, the colours are so bright and I quite like the transparent packaging, so I picked them up in Pink Hawaiian (the corally one) and Deep Fuschia (the bright pink one).
Here's what Boots say about them :
"Models Own moisturising lipsticks are soft smooth and high in pigment
for an intense colour look. These on trend colours will help you
create that perfect day wear or evening out perfect pout look."
This is my favourite of the two, the colour is gorgeous and the reddy pinks always suit me better and I've worn it loads/ The pigmentation for both these lipsticks is amazing, even for my naturally dark lips these have no problem with colour payoff. The formula is lovely too, they're creamy and don't need any lip balm on previously which is great if you are in a hurry. They don't last particularly well but when they're so moisturising I don't think you can really complain!
This shade actually reminds me off the Topshop Brighton Rock but a little brighter, the colour is gorgeous but a little harder to pull off than the Pink Hawaiian. The more I look at these pictures though the more I want to wear them both, they've definitely become the lipsticks I go to use most days and if I saw more colours I liked I'd probably pick up a couple more!

May Wishlist
1. Kabuki Brush - Topshop, £8
I haven't got a kabuki brush and I don't really want to spend a lot of money just in case I don't use it that much so this Topshop one is perfect. I've got a couple of their brushes and for the price they're lovely and I can not resist that colour!
2. Navy Polka Dot Floral Tea Dress - River Island, £28
I actually brought this dress in the red with a different pattern this week and the shape is so gorgeous that I want it in this style too! It's flattering and it's long enough for me! (dresses are never long enough and I almost always have to wear tights) And because of the colour I'll be able to wear it in the winter too, bonus!
3. Red Vintage Style Day Watch - ASOS, £25
I adore this watch, the colour is perfect, I love the shape of the face and it's a bit of a bargain. I love the vintage feel to it and it would look so gorgeous with a nice tea dress and some brogues and I've just convinced myself even more that this is a must have!
4. Purple Oriental Smock Dress - River Island, £15 (was £25)
I love the pattern and the shape of this dress and it is such a bargain I'm just not sure if that shape suits me, so it really needs to be tried on. So I'm hoping next time I go shopping it'll be in store!
5. Coral Mini Satchel - Topshop, £18
Who doesn't love a satchel and a mini coral one? Irresistible! Most of my bags are large enough to live in so this would be perfect for when I just need to carry a couple of bits and bobs. The colour is perfect for summer too and it's not a bad price!
6. Red Ditsy Print Tea Dress - River Island, £25
Yes I can not resist a pretty tea dress, I love feeling ultra feminine and this dress does it for me. I already have a dress in this fabric and the pattern is so pretty and the colour really suits me, lets hope it's still in stock in June!

Rimmel Clear Complexion Clarifying Powder
I brought this the last time I went shopping as I was after a cheaper powder so I could save my Benefit Hello Flawless for special occasions rather than everyday use. I went for this after reading the fab review on Temporary Secretary and at such a cheap price I thought it was worth a try.
I hate heavy powders, this is nice and light and the 'one shade fits all'
promise was pretty appealing! Rimmel are true to their word, the colour
looks perfect on me, it's light and you don't actually feel like your
wearing anything which is great. I've worn it over my Revlon Nearly
Naked and it sits beautifully and stops any pesky shine. I've also used
it alone to if I just want a light coverage, I tend to just apply it on
my T Zone and my chin.
For the price this is such a great powder, the packaging is pretty basic but it's a lovely product and I'd definitely re purchase for everyday use. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who needs heavier coverage though.
Have you tried this powder? What did you think?

Boohoo Shorts
Last week I picked up three pairs of shorts and with a code I found online it came to just under £28 for the lot! I feel like I've overdosed on tops this season and I need some bottoms to balance it out a bit and when I saw the floral navy shorts I knew they were for me! I ended up picking up the other two pairs because I couldn't resist the bargain at £8 each!
Navy Floral Shorts - £10
Red Floral Shorts - £8
Black and White Spotty Shorts - £8 (they've gone up to £10!)
Are you a fan of boohoo?
